Infant Toddler Quality of Life Questionnaire (ITQOL)

Published3rd June 2014

This tool is designed to assess levels of health and wellbeing in children aged between two months and five years.

Features

The tool contains 4 multi-item scales that measure Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) support, infant wellbeing, parent wellbeing and parent anxiety. The scales range from 3-11 items and use a 4-level response system, with parents reflecting on a series of statements ranging from ‘not at all’ to ‘a lot’. The tool also contains questions on family cohesion and anticipated limitations in personal time. The tool includes infant / toddler-focused questions, such as development, pain and moods, as well as parent questions, such as worry and time limitations.

Services

Access to the publication is given in order that content can be reviewed to make a decision on whether to include the tool in funding bids etc (though use still requires membership).
