This guide explains ways to develop and use indicators to help you measure your outcomes.


The guide identifies and explains the two basic types of indicator, output indicators and outcome indicators. It then explains how to develop indicators and how to use indicators as well as appropriate methods for collecting information.


Evaluation Support Scotland (ESS) works with voluntary organisations and funders so that they can measure and report on their impact.
