Early Years Self Evaluation Collaborative report

Published29th May 2014

This report highlights the first stage of a three-stage pilot programme commissioned by Community Food and Health Scotland and led by Evaluation Support Scotland to support six groups to show the impact of their work with parents and children aged 0-5 years.

The report outlines why and how the Early Years Self-Evaluation Collaborative was set up, gives some examples of the current policy context that have implications on early years work, and details of the projects involved.

A summary of the evaluation process and methods used, six case studies, and some top tips highlight the range of approaches used by the participating projects, and how applying evaluation processes to their work will help them provide evidence to demonstrate their effectiveness.
